CONNECTION
DPV SPEED CONTROLLER V3 is equipped with a wireless Wi-Fi communication system.
Each controller has a unique name (serial number) and password. After powering up, find the name of the controller in the Wi-Fi access points of your phone/computer and connect to it by entering the password (we recommend memorizing it). After connecting to the Controller’s access point, enter the address 192.168.4.1 in your web browser to connect to the Application.
CHANGES IN SETTINGS
SPEED NUMBER – number of active speeds.
START SPEED – initial gear, range from 1-8, selection of active gears.
SPEED 1…8 – changing the value of the gear (range 20-100%, changing the value to 0 disables the given gear and each subsequent gear will be treated as disabled).
SPEED RAMP RATE – speed ramp rate (values 10-100).
SHIFT TRESHOLE – trigger response time (values 100-500).
DOUBLE CLICK TO START – double click starts the motor.
START AT MAX SPEED – triple click will start the maximum speed of the motor.
CRUISE CONTROL – quadruple click will lock the current speed without holding down the trigger – pressing the trigger again or a combination of clicks (changing speed) will stop this function.
HALF BATTERY WARNING – enter the battery level value at which the green LED lights up.
LOW BATTERY WARNING – enter the value of the voltage level at which the red LED will light up.
MIN BATTERY VOLTAGE – Enter the minimum battery voltage (cut-off threshold) – depending on the type of battery used, for new/operating batteries you can assume the voltage – for Li-ion – 19.5V, NiMH or PB – 18.5V. Exact information can be obtained by performing a burn test.
MAX BATTERY VOLTAGE – Enter the maximum battery voltage – install a fully charged battery in the DPV, read its voltage using the app and enter.
